Since college, I have been interested in working in Japan after graduation. But, I know that achieving this goal needs to have experience working in Japan. After weeks of online international internship search, I found an interesting on Indeed. This is the global liquidity SEI internship position.I was shocked to find a consistent with my interest is very position, so I decide to make some research on the SEI.Soon after, I understand the global internship program, after reading everyone in the company's experience, I know this is I want an internship.

What did you do during the internship?

My internship program is for the part in writing in English as they headed to work in Japan SEI global relocation guide. The guide was originally as a new foreigner employees for life in Japan step by step guide. However, in the interview several current in SEI after member, I realized, after considering the foreign employees to Japan, write a guide will be more helpful. After knowing the challenges they face, I was able to attend the seminars several times, and visited several offices, by observing the foreigner employees what kind of difficulties when they first arrived in Japan. In addition, I even didn't familiar with the Japanese labor laws have further understanding.Through this project, I got a lot of knowledge, and thankfully, I got in I think the best way to write the guidelines of freedom and support.

What did you learn from this practice is the most interesting thing?

In addition to the main item, I also received a deputy project, the project is designed to help improve the current office environment.I know what kind of office workers like and what they want to change. My biggest feeling is, everyone has their own learning habits and favorite learning environment, as each person must be at work all day in the same environment, it will be a real challenge. Each of us has his own preferences, these preferences can help us grow, and I really believe that meet these requirements will increase employee satisfaction and work efficiency.Equally interesting is, I saw the Japanese culture and American culture adopted by the different ways in coping with change.Through this program, I learned many different aspects and challenges, these are all must be considered when we try to innovation has long been the norm. Will poison the outsider's perspective into the office and a little is also very interesting.

Practice to shape your career if you have any help?

The internships that I have the chance to spend the summer holiday in Japan and working in a true Japanese company. It makes me want to career for the future have a better understanding.I definitely want to be in Japan in the future work, the experience can also let me know what are expected to Japanese company. In addition, the SEI also offers our interns to collaborate on projects of degrees of freedom, will poison the outsider's perspective into the office and a little is also very interesting. These small projects we do together makes me realize my passion for creativity and collaborative work, I'm trying to look for to satisfy his desire ideal career.

In the future you plan to attend the internship students have any Suggestions?

I cannot emphasize this internship program of good organization and abundance too much, I was lucky to participate and strongly recommend the internship program.Even so, I suggest that everyone be realistic about their expectations.SEI是一家历史悠久且拥有独特公司结构的大公司,变革不可能在一夜之间发生。但是,我相信我们的想法会留在公司,并为员工提供不同的视角,这有助于在将来实施变革。继续尝试,不要放弃!
