Advanced vehicle systems research and development center of interns
Sacha is studied at higher cutting edge industrial technical school (ESTIA) French.He is pursuing a master's degree in engineering.
Sacha as an intern in our advanced vehicle systems research and development center for 12 weeks.
Why did you choose in sumitomo electrical engineering practice?
I have been interested in Japanese culture and thinking mode.Today, many European companies are learn from Japan's working methods.Therefore, I have been hoping to have a large Japanese professional work experience in a multinational company, in order to learn the different working way and thoroughness.
In addition, for I to popular science subject (especially the artificial intelligence) obsession, I focus on robot and embedded system at present.For these reasons, sumitomo electric's global internship program is an inspiring challenge and chance, and is likely to be in contact with the new advanced technology in the practice.
What did you do during the internship?
With the rapid development of self-driving technology, cars become more and more intelligent, more and more do not rely on human operation.At present, the development of self-driving car based on V2X communications networking (car), the wireless technology to realize data exchange between vehicles with the surrounding environment, in order to meet the requirements of road safety, traffic efficiency and energy saving.
I'm sumitomo electric projects included in the on-board network simulation framework to realize data collection and sharing the mobile system, code to write the car to car function, such as collision avoidance and automatic lane changing together.In addition, I also committed to the DSRC and C - V2X communications, high-frequency products associated to the company and autopilot are simulated and analyzed.
What did you learn from this practice is the most interesting thing?
In terms of technology, I come into contact with the emulator for car networking communication, also learned a lot and autopilot related technologies.
In short, in the advanced automotive research and development center work experience is very exciting, it cultivated my curiosity, autonomy and the ability to solve the problem.During the 12-week internship, I not only set up self-confidence and professional communication skills, but also gained valuable skills and knowledge.
I'm crazy about Japanese culture and thinking mode, and have the opportunity to meet people of different backgrounds from all over the world.
